The first FairWorks product will be launched in early 2008, marking the culmination of four years hard work. But far from signalling the end of the FairWorks story, this is just the beginning.
A global reach
We have a vision to give FairWorks a truly global outlook. This means continuing to explore how we can use materials, craft skills and techniques from all around the world - and experimenting with sustainable materials not previously considered for conventional products.
We’ve forged strong links with talented artisans in India. And we are already exploring possible collaborations in other parts of the world. We know that building and nurturing these relationships is central to creating truly innovative products long into the future.
Sharing our knowledge
Our work shows that international business and local communities can work together to achieve quality products and sustainable practices.
It’s not easy - and by no means do we have all the answers - but we’re starting to prove that it can work. And now, we’re striving to spread the word to other organisations on an international scale.
